If I'm honest, I never thought engine additives would make a difference. After a friend kept badgering me to give it a try, I gave in and added the Activ8 oil additive in my BMW E91 318d, all I can say is I'm shocked. As a diesel, they are normally very loud, but this helped quieten that dreaded engine sound. The car feels smoother when accelerating at all speeds, and to top it all off, my MPG is so much better. So, more miles out the tank and that's something to make us all smile. I can honestly say this product has changed my opinion on additives and I will be ordering some more for my GTI polo when I service it next.
